2023 Presidency: Peter Obi Wins In Lagos State As Tinubu Comes Second

— While Obi polled a whopping 582,454 votes to win in Lagos State, Tinubu polled a total of 572,606 votes to get the second position. Atiku Abubakar of PDP got 75,750 votes only to come a distant third.

The Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Mr Peter Obi, has won the Presidential Election in Lagos State, beating his closest rival in the state, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), to the second position.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) after due calculation of genuine votes cast in all the 20 LGAs Lagos State, declared LP’s Peter Obi the winner of the 2023 Presidential Election in the state.

The result, INEC announced this afternoon at the Lagos Collation Centre shows that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) came a distant third.
