Former President Goodluck Jonathan on Friday, played host to the Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Mr Peter Obi and his running mate, Datti Yusuf Baba-Ahmed, at his country home in Yenagoa residence in Bayelsa State.

Although it was a close door meeting, we gathered that the former President used the opportunity to advise Obi on 2023 Elections and on how to approach the multiple challenges facing Nigeria once he emerges the country’s elected President in 2023.

For example, Channels Television’s report on the meeting quoted former President Jonathan as saying that everything must be done to unite  Nigeria ‘that is extremely divided.”

 Apart from Jonathan, Obi, in the course of his Presidential Campaigns, has been hosted, blessed and advised by other former presidents and military Heads of State, including Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, General Ibrahim Babangida and General Abdulsalami Abubakar.
