— Over 74 Injured, Hospitalised, Laments Dino Malaye

It has been confirmed that gunmen today, Wednesday, November 9, 2022, attacked the convoy of former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, in Maiduguri, Borno State.

Video clips of the attack have already gone viral in the social media.

Confirming the attack, the Spokesman of Atiku Campaign Organization, Senator Dino Malaye, also accused the ruling party in the state, All Progressives Congress (APC), of being behind the attack.

“They wanted to prevent us from holding the campaign. As we speak, 74 people were injured and hospitalized. Several vehicles were vandalised by APC thugs”, Melaye was quoted as saying.
