As hunger, inflation and frustration reach unheard of levels in Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has again assured the people of better days in the future.
He gave the latest assurance of a better tomorrow at the graduation ceremony for the Executive Intelligence Management Course 17 at the National Institute for Security Studies in Abuja.
Represented by the National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu, at the event, Mr President admitted that Nigerians are currently facing severe difficulties but said his government is working hard to change the situation for good.
He said: “The economy is changing. Very tough, very difficult, very huge challenges we are facing. But I can assure you, better days are ahead of us.”
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu added through the NSA, Nuhu Ribadu: “Things are happening in our country today. People may not like us. They probably will disagree with one or two. But fundamentally, things are changing. And Nigeria will change.”
NewsOrient reports that since President Tinubu-led Federal Government of Nigeria officially announced petroleum subsidy removal in 2023 and also floated the naira, inflation has remained uncontrollable and hunger has devastated the people of Nigeria.
