Osun Election: INEC Moves Sensitive Materials Amidst Tight Security

It has been confirmed that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has commenced movement of sensitive election materials for distribution in Osun State.

NewsOrient learnt that the movement of the sensitive electoral materials began Thursday night, about 24 hours to Osun State Governorship Election, scheduled to hold  on Saturday.

Between last night and the end of today, all the sensitive materials will be distributed to all the 30 local government areas of the state  amidst what a source described as “tight security.”

Osun State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Prof. Abdulganiy Raji, while handing over the materials to the officers, said to ensure efficient delivery of the items to the polling units on Saturday, the electoral officers should take the items to their councils from where they would be sent to the polling units on Saturday morning.
