if you wait, they will destroy tomorrow

Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, a former President of Nigeria, has told Nigerian youths to take over governance in the country.

He urged the youths to take responsibility and work hard to take over the country’s  leadership immediately, warning that the youths must not be deceived by the claim that they are only “leaders of tomorrow.”

Dr Obasanjo gave the advise in a tweet where he said “should the youths wait for tommorrow, that tommorrow may not come”.

He said in the Tweet: “My advice for Nigerian youths is that never let anybody tell you that you are the leaders of tomorrow. If you wait for tomorrow before you go take over leadership, that tomorrow may not come. They will destroy it. This is the time, youths get up and make it happen.”
