The General Secretary of the Nigerian Union of Electricity Employees (NUEE), Comrade Joe Ajaero, made history at the International Conference Centre Abuja where he emerged the new President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) unopposed.

But long before the formal conference at the Centre in Abuja, close observers noted his emergence once it became obvious he had no opponent for the election.

A report in Newsexpressngr said Ajaero “succeeds Comrade Ayuba Wabba, whose tenure as NLC President ends with today’s election.”
