Oleksandr Usyk has confirmed his place at the top of the heavyweight division with momentous rematch win over Anthony Joshua on Saturday.

Usyk did this by taking a second consecutive victory over Joshua to defend his unified WBO, WBA and IBF world heavyweight titles.

The second consecutive victory over Joshua to defend the unified WBO, WBA and IBF titles took place yesterday, Saturday, at the King Abdullah Sports City Arena in Jeddah.

At the boxing contest, Usyk outpointed Joshua over the course of an epic 12 round battle.

Usyk triumphed on a split decision, taking 116-112 and 115-113 on two cards. The third judge scored 115-113 for Joshua.
