Founder of VCO Foundation, Valentine Ozigbo, has described the first group of 48 exceptional Anambra scholars, the first cohort of the 100 scholars his foundation drew from the three senatorial zones of the state to study at Decagon Institute, as “the future of Nigeria and African information technology.

He said this after his recent visit to the scholars, who are beneficiaries of his foundation, VCO.

In a statement he sent to NewsOrient, Ozigbo wrote: “Hello and compliments of the season.

“I’m thrilled to share an extraordinary experience I had recently. I visited the Decagon Institute and met with the first group of 48 exceptional Anambra scholars, the first cohort of the 100 scholars drawn from the three Senatorial Zones of my home state.

These bright young minds are on a remarkable journey, supported by the N400 million guarantee from our VCO Foundation, to become future tech giants of our continent.

I have shared a video that captures the essence of our interaction. It was a meeting filled with hope, ambition, and a united vision for a brighter, tech-driven future for Anambra, Nigeria, and indeed, Africa.
