World Cup: Why Morocco Bowed To Croatia In Third Place Match

Thanks to what some analysts described as “clumsy defence,” the Atlas Lions of Morocco on Saturday lost the world cup Bronze medal to  Croatia after a 2-1 loss.

Besides faulty defence, the Moroccan side accused of either “not clearing their lines well or gifting their passes to the Croatian attackers.”

As an analyst puts it, “this was how Ivan Perisic pounce on a rolling ball to quickly pass to Josko Gvardial, sporting the number 20 shirt for Croatia, who of course nodded it in as the first goal in the 7th minute.”
