The Founder and General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry (DCLM), Pastor William F. Kumuyi, has called on the members of his Church to use their 50th anniversary as a springboard to “get new heart.”

Kumuyi said in his sermon at the celebration service, titled: ‘Marching Forward With Fresh Vision Into The Future Destiny:’ “Celebrating our 50th anniversary affords us the opportunity for a new beginning, for a new heart, a new devotion and a new consecration.

It provides us a platform to rise higher and an opportunity to do more than anything we have ever done; a new demonstration of deeper love for and commitment to our God.”

NewsOrient Network reports that Pastor Kumuyi also used the occasion of the 50th year anniversary to unveil the Deeper Life Study Bible.

It is on record that Deeper Christian Life Church, which today has millions of members across the world, started
August 3, 1973 when the Founder (then known simply as Brother Kumuyi), started hosting a Bible study group of 15 people at his official residence, Flat 2, Faculty of Education Campus, University of Lagos, Akoka, Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria.
