Tinubu Orders Arrest Of Plateau Christmas Terror Attackers, As Nigerians Condemn Act

Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has ordered arrest of the gunmen that attacked Plateau communities on Christmas Eve, killing over 100 villagers and burning down many houses.
According to a statement signed by his spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu “directs security agencies to immediately move in, scour every stretch of the zone, and apprehend the culprits.”
Ngelale said the President also directed “immediate mobilisation of relief resources for surviving victims of the primitive and cruel attacks as well as medical treatment for the wounded.”
Meanwhile, many Nigerians have condemned the bloody attacks, calling on the government, security agencies and other stakeholders to take action against continuous attacks on harmless Nigerian citizens.
It would be recalled that yet-to-be arrested gunmen reportedly “stormed 15 communities in the Bokkos and Barkin-Ladi Local Government Areas of Plateau State on Christmas Eve, and killed over 115 people.”
The terrorists also set ablaze many houses in the communities that Christmas eve.
