Tinubu Appoints Emmanuel Trump Eke, Others As Federal Commissioners Of National Population Commission

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Hon Emmanuel Trump Eke and 19 others as Federal Commissioners of the National Population Commission (NPC).

A State House Press Release, signed by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity), said the newly appointed Federal Commissioners will serve “with nine current Federal Commissioners being appointed to a second term in office.”

The press release reads in part: “President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of twenty (20) qualified Nigerians to serve as Federal Commissioners in the National Population Commission (NPC) with nine current Federal Commissioners being appointed to a second term in office.”

The statement gave the names of the Federal Commissioners as:

Hon. Emmanuel Trump Eke — Abia State

Dr. Clifford Zirra — Adamawa State — Reappointed

Mr. Chidi Christopher Ezeoke — Anambra — Reappointed

Barr. Isa Audu Buratai — Borno — Reappointed

Bishop Alex Ukam — Cross River

Ms. Blessyn Brume-Ataguba — Delta

Dr. Jeremiah Ogbonna Nwankwegu — Ebonyi

Dr. Tony Aiyejina — Edo — Reappointed

Mr. Ejike Ezeh — Enugu — Reappointed

Mr. Abubakar Damburam — Gombe — Reappointed

Prof. Uba Nnabue — Imo — Reappointed

Ms. Sa’adatu Dogon Bauchi Garba — Kaduna

Dr. Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa — Kano

Hon. Yori Afolabi — Kogi

Hon. Olakunle Sobukola — Ogun

Hon. Temitayo Oluseye Oluwatuyi — Ondo
