Senate Clears Emmanuel Trump Eke, 16 Others As NPC Federal Commissioners

The Senate has cleared Hon Emmanuel Trump Eke and 16 others as NPC Federal Commissioners. They were all nominees of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The new Federal Commissioners were screened and cleared by the Senate Committee on National Identity and Population Commission.
We gathered that the screening was witnessed by the Chairman of the Senate Committee, Senator Abdul Ningi and members of the Committee at Room 117, Senate Wing, NASS Complex.
It would be recalled that President Tinubu submitted names of 19 nominees from different states to the Senate for confirmation as Federal Commissioners of NPC.
Hon Eke is Abia State Representative in the Commission.
Here is the full list of the appointees: Emmanuel Eke (Abia), Clifford Zirra (Adamawa), Chidi Ezeoke (Anambra), Isa Buratai (Borno), Alex Ukam (Cross River), Jeremiah Nwankwegu (Ebonyi), Tony Aiyejina (Edo), Ejike Ezeh (Enugu), Mrs Blessyn Brume-Ataguba, (Delta) Abubakar Damburam (Gombe), Uba Nnabue (Imo) and Dogon Garba (Kaduna).
Others were Aminu Tsanyawa (Kano), Yori Afolabi (Kogi), Olakunle Sobukola (Ogun), Temitayo Oluwatuyi (Ondo), Mary Afan (Plateau), Ogiri Henry (Rivers) and Saany Sale (Taraba).
