Presidency Accepts Ngelale’s Resignation As Tinubu’s Spokesman, Adviser

The Presidency has formally accepted the resignation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Spokesman and Special Adviser, Chief Ajuri Ngelale.
The Presidency accepted the resignation via a statement released on Saturday.
NewsOrient learnt that Ajuri Ngelale’s resignation requested that he be allowed to “proceed on an indefinite leave of absence for personal and health-related reasons.”
Presidency’s acceptance statement was made known in a statement shared on the X handle of the Presidency, @NGRPresident on Saturday night.
The statement was not signed by any particular individual but had “The Presidency” as signatory.
It said clearly that the reasons given by Ngelale for the leave has been accepted.
“The President has received the memo from Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity and Official Spokesperson of the President as well as Special Presidential Envoy on Climate Action, informing of his decision to proceed on an indefinite leave of absence for personal and health reasons.
“The President accepts his reasons for the leave, fully understands them and sympathises with the circumstances that have led to this seemingly difficult decision,” the statement read in part.
