Ohanaeze President-General’s Home Set Ablaze

The country home of Prof George Obiozor, the President – General of the apex Igbo social cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has been set ablaze.

Although detailed information on the incident is yet to be ascertained, unknown Gunmen are currently blamed for the alleged arson.

The Niche reported that Prof Obiozor, the former Nigeria’s Ambassador to the United States of America and Israel, was not at home when the alleged arson was committed, adding that he is “abroad right now on medical vacation.”

Pointing out that Obiozor hails from Omuma, Oru East Local Government Area of Imo State and that Omuma is also the community of Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, the paper recalled that the governor’s country home was also set ablaze sometime last year.
