Labour Party Terminates Appointment Of Some Key Aides To It’s National Chairman

The Labour Party has announced termination of appointment of some key aides to it’s National Chairman.
Those affected were mainly the aides whose roles had to do with campaigns.
The announcement is contained in a statement, dated October 28, 2023 and signed by Malam Umar Farouk, the National Secretary of the
party.
Titled “Termination of Appointments of Key Aides to the National Chairman,” the statement reads:
“The National Chairman of the Labour Party, Barrister Julius Abure has approved the termination of appointments of some of his aides with immediate effect.
“In a termination letter signed by the National Secretary, Malam Umar Farouk, he noted that all appointments that were related to campaigns have been formally dissolved.
“The effected appointees include:
Mr. Mandela Ukegbu,
Chairman, Labour Party Presidential Campaign Committee on Special Duties.
Engineer Balami Isaac David, Senior Special Assistant on Presidential Campaign, Fund Raising and Grassroot Mobilization;
Didacus Joe-Adigwe
Senior Special Adviser on Strategy, Protocol and International Relations;
Princess Ajibola, Senior Special Assistant on Special Duties and Mobilization;
Isaac Imasuagbon,
Senior Special Assistant on ICT.
The National Chairman wishes them well in their future engagements.
He also warned Mr. Ukegbu who has continued to parade himself to the public, claiming to be an aide to the National Chairman to desist from doing so henceforth.”
