There is tension across the world over United States of America’s bombing of Iran’s major Nuclear facility.

NewsOrient learnt that the overnight attack was carried out with “cruise missiles and bunker-busting bombs.

Confirming the attack, US President Donald Trump said “US wiped out Iran’s three main nuclear installations.”

In a televised address to the U.S. people, Trump described the strikes as a “spectacular military success.”

He also warned Tehran against retaliation, saying the country would “face more devastating attacks if it did not agree to peace.”

Responding, Iran described the US airstrike against it as a ‘grave violation’ of UN charter that would have everlasting consequences”.

On the effect of the attack, Iran said most nuclear materials at it’s underground Fordow plant were moved elsewhere before the US bombing.

Tehran also vowed to defend itself, and according to Reuters, has “responded with a volley of missiles at Israel that wounded scores of people and destroyed buildings in its commercial hub, Tel Aviv.”

NewsOrient recalls that the faceoff between Iran and Israel over nuclear power armament has continued to deteriorate, leading to massive missile attacks.

With US direct involvement, observers across the world are now holding their breath.
