If You Remove Obidients, Nigeria Will Be Left With Tyranny, Says Shehu Sani
Fiery social critic, Senator Shehu Sani, has said that if we remove Mr Peter Obi’s supporters, known as Obidients, from Nigeria’s current political space, Nigeria will be left with nothing but “tyranny.”
A report in Daily Trust, quoting a tweet by Senator Sani reported that Sani wrote: “If you remove the supporters of the Labour Party from Nigeria’s political space, we will all have the peace and tranquillity we want and the tyranny we don’t want.”
The report said supporters of the Labour Party (LP), better known as ‘Obidients’, are giving the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), sleepless nights,” adding that “Sani, a social critic, in a tweet on Wednesday, claimed that if the supporters of the party were removed from the political space, the nation would be left with tyranny.”
The report also recalled “that the candidate of LP is challenging the declaration of Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, as the winner of the February 25 election.
