—Kill Four

Horror defines the mood of Dikko village in Kaduna State, following the violent death of at least four villagers when some terrorists opened fire at a wedding ceremony on Friday in the remote village located at Idasu District of Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Kaduna State Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, who confirmed the incident in a statement dated yesterday, Saturday, January 15, said “The marauding bandits stormed a wedding ceremony in the village, shooting sporadically.”

The statement identified Malam Ibrahim, Saidu Haruna, Abdulkadir Adamu and Nababa Ahmad as the four victims shot dead by the terrorists.

Receiving the report on the incident and that of a similar terrorist attack on Kankomi Maikarfi in Sabon Garin Kufana, Kajuru Local Government Area, at the weekend, Governor Nasir El-Rufai expressed grief and condemned the atrocious attacks by the terrorists.

Sending his condolence to the families of the victims, El-Rufai prayed for “the repose of the souls of the victims.”
