Gunmen Kill Osun APC Chairman 3 Months To State Guber Election
This morning, barely three months to July 16, 2022 Osun Governorship Election, unknown gunmen suspected to be hired assassins, stormed the home of Gbenga Ogbara, the All Progressives Congress Chairman in the state and shot him dead.
The Police authorities confirmed that the Gunmen killed the APC state chairman in his sitting room early this morning, around 12am
at Igangan, his hometown at Atakumosa East Central Local Government Area of the state.
A statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, Yemisi Opalola, confirmed the incident to journalists in Osogbo, the state capital.
She said: “The APC Chairman was killed around 12 am by some gunmen.
Policemen have been deployed to the area.
Investigation is ongoing on the matter.”
The Osun election is billed for July 16, barely three months from now.
