The First Lady, Mrs. Aisha Buhari, today made history when she visited the Senate.

Some say her visit today may probably be the first of it’s type since independence as no sitting First Lady has reportedly made such a visit.

She witnessed the laying of the report of the Senate Constitution Review Committee.

The First Lady who was accompanied on the visit by the Minister of Women Affairs, Mrs Paullen Tallen; Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Mrs Zainab Ahmed, and some of her personal aides,
was ushered into the Senate chamber around 12noon.
