Ekiti State Governor and Chairman, Nigeria Governors’ Forum, Kayode Fayemi, has concluded arrangements to formally declare his intention to contest the 2023 Presidential Election on the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC).

The formal declaration is scheduled to hold today, Wednesday, in Abuja.

Fayemi’s Chief Press Secretary, Yinka Oyebode, confirmed this in a statement on Tuesday.

He said the formal declaration, tagged, “Unveiling My Nigeria Agenda’, would lay to rest speculations on whether Fayemi would run for the Presidency or not.”

Oyebode also revealed that his principal had discussed his plan to run for the top office with President Muhammadu Buhari, some traditional rulers and political leaders across states in Nigeria.
