There was drama today Thursday on the floors of the Senate, following heated exchange between Senate President Godswill Akpabio and Senator Natasha Uduaghan.

The exchange was traced to a minor disagreement over seats which almost led to Senator Natasha’s forceful handling at the Senate Chamber.

It got to a stage that the Senate President called the Sergeant of Arms to bundle Senator Natasha out of the Red Chamber.

But after desperate intervention of some distinguished Senators the toxic situation was settled.

NewsOrient reports that the hot exchanges, which included Natasha’s allegation that Akpabio has been deliberately ensuring that her bills do not pass second reading, began with simple disagreement over sitting arrangement in the Senate.

Natasha was reportedly reassigned to a new seat but she refused to leave her seat for the new seat, alleging that the movement would amount to putting her “in a corner.”

But Senate President was not impressed by her argument, insisting that she can not be recognized if she speaks from a wrong seat.
