– Police Arrest Domestic Staff For Questioning

It has finally been confirmed that three-years-old Ifeanyi, the son of Nigerian top music star, David Adeleke, alias Davido, has died. He died by drowning.

The death of the youngster was confirmed by the Police in Lagos.

Already, the Police, while confirming the death, said it has arrested some domestic staff of Davido for questioning.

Police spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin, said “Ifeanyi, Davido’s three-year-old son is late.”

He also disclosed that police has “invited eight people for questioning after Ifeanyi’s death.”

He said: “It is true, the child is dead. About eight people were brought in for questioning and we are investigating the matter. Anyone found culpable in the death of the child would be arrested.”

Since late last night, there has been rumours and unconfirmed reports that Ifeanyi, the son of Davido, died by drowning.

Even fans, friends and associates of Davido and his fiancee Chioma, the mother of Ifeanyi, who first commented this morning on the tragic development were careful since the report was not yet confirmed by family or the Police. 

But latest report that some Davido’s domestic staff members, including Ifeanyi’s nanny and cook, have been arrested by the Police for questioning seems to confirm the tragic death.

Earlier reports, which are not yet confirmed by Davido’s family was that “Ifeanyi, the three years old son of singer Davido, drowned on Monday, October 31, 2022, inside the family’s swimming pool in Banana Island, Lagos.”

We learnt Davido and his fiancee, Chioma, the mother of Ifeanyi, are sourly broken and in tears.
