Following news that Real Madrid has named Kylian Mbappe in their squad to face Manchester City in the Champions League on Wednesday, fans have continued to express fear over his fitness.

Even before his inclusion in the team was made public, there has been mild controversy over his fitness.

This was after the French superstar reportedly missed training on Tuesday, with Madrid telling AFP it was because of “a broken finger” and “some other discomfort.”

Spanish media have earlier reported that the Madrid coach, Xabi Alonso, is set for the sack if his team lose against Pep Guardiola’s side.
