The Supreme Court of Nigeria has affirmed the election of Governor Ahmadu Fintiri as the duly elected Governor of Adamawa State.

The apex court on Wednesday, in a lead judgement, prepared and read by Justice John Okoro, dismissed the appeal by the Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Aisha Dahiru.

The five-member panel, led by Justice John Okoro, dismissed Aisha Dahiru’s appeal for “lacking in merit.”
