Pastor Tunde Bakare, the Overseer of the Citadel Global Community Church, has accused President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of chosing the wrong fight and thereby imposing hardship on Nigerians.

Bakare criticized Tinubu’s choices in the Governance of Nigeria, insisting that if Mr President wants to stand with the poor and common Nigerians, he should go after individuals and corporations that have plundered the wealth of Nigeria.

Bakare said these yesterday while preaching in his Church.

He said: “By imposing hardship on Nigeria without going after those individual, corporations who have plundered Nigeria over the years, the president has picked the wrong fight.

“Mr President, if you are truly on the side of the poor; if you are serious about the welfare of the people; if you truly want the poor to breathe as you once said, then kill corruption and not Nigerians.”
