Anambra Govt Uncovers Hotel With In-Built Shrine And Graves Used As Kidnappers’ Den

As part of its efforts to rid the South-Eastern State of criminal activities,
Anambra State Government has uncovered and demolished a hotel used by kidnappers as their hideout.

A report in Anambra New Media said “it was gathered that the building, which disguises as a hotel, was used to carry out kidnapping and other dubious activities.”

The ‘hotel’ is located along the Onitsha-Owerri Road in Oba, Idemili South Local Government Area of the state.

This was disclosed in a statement at the weekend by the Anambra State New Media on its X (formerly Twitter) account, also reported by Channels Television

It said “the government identified the building as Udoka Golden Point Hotel and Suites, also referred to as “La Cruise Hotel.”

It also said the hotel has over 30 well-partitioned graves and a shrine.

“The hotel has well-partitioned graves of over 30 on the last floor with a shrine,” it said.
