The Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, has assigned portfolios to the newly appointed commissioners who were sworn-in during the week.

The governor also effected a minor reshuffle of his cabinet and created a few more ministries.

A press statement dated 15th August 2024 and signed by Ctz. Ukoha Njoku Ukoha, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, said the new composition of Abia State Executive Council is as follows:

Prince Uzo Nwachukwu – Hon. Commissioner Local Government & Chieftaincy Affairs.

Mr. Uwaoma Ukandu – Hon. Commissioner for Finance.
