Abia State’s monthly environmental sanitation will hold tomorrow, Saturday, July 29, 2023 within the hours of 7am and 10 am.

A press release dated July 28, 2023 and signed by Mr Ogbonnia Okereke, the GM/CEO, Abia State Environmental Protection Agency (ASEPA), reads:

“MONTHLY ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION EXERCISE

This is to inform all residents of Abia State that the monthly environmental Sanitation exercise will hold on Saturday, July 29th 2023.

“The exercise will hold simultaneously across the entire State within the hours of 7am – 10am.

Vehicular movement will only be restricted to those on essential services. All other forms of vehicular or human movement within this period, are not allowed.

“Residents are urged to participate fully in the exercise; clean their surroundings, desilt water channels and properly bag their wastes for collection and proper disposal.

“Let us join hands with the Government to achieve a clean and habitable Abia.”
