Senegal today, Sunday, 18th January 2026, beat Morocco 1-0 to lift the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations final in Rabat.

The high point of the match came when Senegal come off pitch after controversial penalty awarded for Morocco minutes to full time.

The tension surrounding the award of the penalty was further deepened by the controversial cancellation of a goal scored by Senegal against Morocco few minutes to full time.
