Morocco, the host-nation in the ongoing 2025 African Cup Of Nations, AFCON, this evening beat Cameroon 2-0 in the second quarterfinal to book a spot in the semi final stage.

It is Brahim Diaz and Ismael Saibari that scored the goals that gave Morocco victory.

Nigeria will take on Algiers on Saturday for it’s quarter final match.

Morocco -Cameroon quarter final match was played at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, Morocco.

It was Brahim Diaz that gave the hosts the lead in the first half.

Cameroon finished as runners-up in their group behind the Ivory Coast, and beat South Africa in the last 16.

Morocco topped Group A over Mali and beat Tanzania in the last round.

Senegal beat Mali 1-0 in the first quarterfinal of the day, while Egypt face Ivory Coast .

Nigeria will take on Algeria in Saturday’s game.
