19 year -old Wilson Chima Igbokwe, aka 3slaq, is the new sensation in the music sector. He is passionate about music and wants to be rich and popular through music. His song is a fusion of afro beat, R&B and pop.

A passion that started from childhood, he started playing around with different beats back in Denmark where he was born. But at age 11, his parents moved him back to Nigeria to further his education, where he caught the afro beat bug.

His entry into professional music was in 2022, with the release of his first single.This was followed in 2023 by the singles: Concentrate, Party Tonight and Without You. In 2024, he released Lean On Me and in 2025, released another single Sound and Prove Them Wrong.

His words: “I do Afro beat. R&B and Pop. I don’t sing in Danish language but I featured one Danish artiste.

“I was born in Denmark and I moved back to Nigeria at age 11, for my education. Since I was born, I have always liked music and Omah Lay is my influence in music. I lived in Port Harcourt, so it was easy for me to adapt to afro beat.

“Scandinavian countries love afro beat and that’s what is trending. They don’t understand the lyrics, so far; the vibe is okay.

“My early contact with music was in 2020 . There was a studio I went to in Port Harcourt and worked with a producer. We worked on different songs but they were not that good. We have to keep writing and keep on going”, he added.

His contact with music producer Victor Ben from the stables of Malian records took his music production to another level.

3slaq has this to say, “I like studying, but it is music that I want to do. Sometimes I go to record studios.
I met the producer Victor Ben on the social media. There was one of the Marlian artiste he produced his song and I told him I love his song.

” So, how have we been working? I have my studio in Denmark, where I do my songs. He will do the beats and send to me, I will record on it and send my vocals and he will do the mixing. I came to Nigeria for us to connect to each other. I came here to work and do some songs with my producer”.

For collaboration, Chima says his dream is to collaborate with Omah Lay and Rhema.

Victor Ben, his producer said they met via the Instagram after 3slaq listened to one of the artistes he produced, who is under the Marlian Label. Ben who has worked with so many music artistes said he decided to work with 3slaq because he has a unique talent.

Ben added that working for the Marlian Records does not stop him from producing for other music artistes.
