Senator John Azuta-Mbata has emerged the new President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo worldwide.

Mbata emerged at the organisation’s convention held in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State, between Thursday and Friday, January 10 2025.

With his emergence as the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, he is to lead the apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation ànd Ndigbo.

He promised to “unite fractured nerves and bring the Igbo together as one indivisible family.”
