Following Christmas Eve massacre, where over 200 unarmed Nigerian civilians were brutally killed in Plateau State rural communities by bloodthirsty marauders, Pope Francis, the Catholic Pontif, has joined concerned observers all over the world to pray for Nigeria.

The Pope on Sunday, in a post on X (formerly Twitter), prayed: “Let us pray together for the victims of the severe violence in Nigeria’s Plateau State.

“May God free Nigeria from these horrors!” the pontiff wrote.

“Let us #PrayTogether for the victims of the severe violence in Nigeria’s Plateau State. May God free Nigeria from these horrors! Let us also pray for those who lost their lives in the explosion of a tanker truck in Liberia.”

Over a week after the Christmas Eve’s bloody gift to Nigeria, the terrorists responsible for the attack are yet to be apprehended.
