The serving Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, emerged the 20th aspirant that paid the N100 million to pick the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) Presidential Nomination Form.

Reports said Associates of the Central Bank of Nigeria Governor picked the nomination form for him earlier today, Friday.

Aside the CBN Governor, majority of the aspirants that have so far paid the whopping sum for the ruling party’s form are serving officials of the current government at the centre and in states.

Already, some critics say the law governing CBN frowns against a CBN Governor vying for elective office while serving as the government’s topmost banker.
